John V. Webb -
Senior Managing Director:

Mr. Webb joined Fulcrum in 2008, and oversees the Firm’s Capital Markets activities from its headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. He has over thirty years experience in the securities industry spanning all aspects of capital markets activities. Before coming to Fulcrum, Mr. Webb was the Managing Partner of Flagstone Securities, LLC, a boutique investment bank and underwriter of over $4 billion in equity securities primarily related to the financial services industry. John started his career in institutional sales at White, Weld and Company in New York, and has held various positions at such firms as Merrill Lynch & Co., Drexel Burnham Lambert, Oppenheimer & Co., and Stifel, Nicolaus & Co. He received his B.A. degree in Economics in 1974, from the University of Wyoming, and was awarded an M.B.A. in Finance from Washington University, St. Louis in 1976.

Christopher L. Powers, CFA -
Corporate Finance:

Mr. Powers heads up Fulcrum’s investment banking practice as Managing Director. He has over 20 years experience in the investment banking industry concentrating on mergers and acquisitions, raising debt and equity capital, valuing and structuring securities, and issuing independent financial opinions for both public and private companies across a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Mr. Powers served as a principal with several boutique investment banks providing similar services to a variety of public and private clients. He has also been a founder and senior executive with several operating businesses. He directed the efforts of a multi-billion dollar corporation’s strategic planning and acquisition functions, and was a founder and Chief Financial Officer of a telecommunications company where he coordinated several rounds of private financings and, the ultimate acquisition of the company. Mr. Powers taught corporate finance and strategy courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and has provided expert testimony services in the field of valuation. He received his B.A. degree in Communication Theory and Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and received his M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds licenses with FINRA including securities principal (Series 24) and sales representative (Series 7).

William P. Riley -
Sales & Trading:

Mr. Riley began his career in capital markets over thirty-five years ago in the syndicate department of Stifel Nicolaus. He has also worked in institutional trading at Dean Witter. In 1974, Mr. Riley helped to co-found Bridge Trading where he managed the listed trading desk. After selling Bridge Trading in 1994, Mr. Riley rejoined Stifel Nicolaus and worked in their institutional sales and trading department. He later co-founded Flagstone Securities. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
